About His Trike

My trike is a Terratrikes Access. It is a good trike, made with an Aluminum tubular frame so it weighs about 33 pounds, but it's sturdy and it's a good ride. I have added a trip computer and a mirror on both sides. I don't have any lights, but that would be a good addition. But I haven't ridden my trike at night yet, so maybe it's not needed.

Terratrikes made my trike in about 2006, and obsoleted it in 2008 for unknown reasons. It continues to be a good ride. I bought used from the original buyer for about half the price of a new trike. This isn't a "fancy" trike, but rather, more of a basic trike, and it had the price tag that goes with basic. It does everything that I want except it doesn't have an electric back up motor, which would be nice.

We're full time travelers, and so the flexibility in packing that goes along with the lighter weighing trike is really important and helpful to me when we're packing to go ahead to the next destination.

We've had our trikes out dozens of times, and they don't show any signs of wear, and tear. We've logged probably around 1,000 miles per year.

  Let the good times roll!
