Spokane, WA trail: The centennial trail along the Spokane river

This trail is located along the Spokane river 37 miles to the East from there.

The trail is reasonably flatish, and goes in a green space along the river with trees, crossing under streets, so you don't have to cross traffic.

The surface is in pretty good shape when we rode on it in most recently July, 2014. There are places where tree roots have damaged the trail that should be repaired, and hopefully will be at some point in the future.

The parking is plentiful, and there's a bathroom at the trailheads.

This is a very good trail, one of the better ones out there, I highly recommend it!

Due to the climate in Spokane, WA., the summers are hot, especially in the sun but there is a lot of shade, so this trail can be ridden on in the summer, the spring and fall is beautiful, and the winters are too cold to ride bikes on this trail.
