Olympia, WA trail: The Chehalis western trail

This trail is located in central Olympia, and goes south and north to connect with other trails.

The trail is flat, and goes in a green space along the trees, crossing some streets, but other streets you don't have to cross traffic.

The surface is in very good shape when we rode on it in most recently July, 2015.

The parking is plentiful, and there's a bathroom at the main trailhead.

This is an excellent trail, one of the best out there, I highly recommend it!

Due to the climate in Olympia, WA, the summers are hot, but with all the shade it's suitable for summer riding, the spring and fall is beautiful, and the winters are cool to cold, but there are days that are suitable for riding your bike in that season some. The main problem with winter riding is the large amount of rainfall in late fall, winter and early spring.
