Backpacking Adventure - Day four part five - Feb 28 - Hiking down Romero Canyon trail As we continued hiking up the hill that separates Romero Canyon and Montrose canyon from the Romero canyon side, we continue to notice better birds eye views of Primarily Romero Canyon both up and down canyon. We got a much better look at the opposite (north) canyon wall of Romero canyon, with the interesting rock formations especially down canyon. Seeing how rugged the canyon really is, makes one wonder what it must have been like for the first people who did the bushwacking and trailfinding up the canyon so long ago. As you climb up the canyon separating hill you also notice that you get a view of Oro Valley and beyond in the distance.
