Molino Basin - Hiking east to the Saddle - Part 2

The trail is intermittantly rocky, and at times slightly steep, but never a scramble, trekking poles should be used.

As one continues up toward the saddle, the views in all directions get grander. Across the canyon west and southwest provide nice views and interesting rock formations.

The vegetation is high desert with cactus, scrub, and small trees growing between the rocks and in the sand.
